Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? Episode 13 Part 2 subtitles. Last scene of it, is probably my favourite scene of this season. The acting is unbelievable. Enjoy and feel free to share with your friends :)

wow...thanks again! I have so many mixed emotions while watching this show...As a woman, I don't think I could ever forgive someone like Kerim...I just feel so sad for Fatmagul...in an ideal world, she could move away with Ebe Nine (far away from Mukaddes!) and get an education and move on with her life!
Harika! garcekdan cok guzal son sahne =) tekrar tekrar teshakurlar! yashsin Adminlar ;) pls excuse my poor Turkish ;) the translation is brilliant! just wanted to say tnks guys :)
This is a recent article I read in the Hurriyet Daily News about the show: http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/n.php?n=online-rape-game-based-on-popular-turkish-soap-2010-12-15
I think that making a computer game based on the show is sick and disgusting!
I red somewhere in an article that TVShow was recorded in Cesme - small village in province Izmir. When Asu asked Fatmagul where is she from did she on purpose awnsered Izmir, to hide real place of origin? Other question: So, there will be 2 season?!!!
Beautiful letter beautiful episode beautiful acting The performances from all the actors is super ........Engine performance is excellent in all the 13 ep. THANK YOU ....Erkan.. Melek :-)
Hey guys I wanted to ask You a question, I hear a lot abut Tuba Buyukustun, is She famous in Turkey ? I know that the actor Bulin Inal left her for Beren, is it right ? At the begining I disn't like Beren because I was thinking that She always plays scandaleous character but know, I really become to kike her because She takes risks in his career and her acting is so touching She is a great artist!!! Whe I see the filmography from other actress like Tuba (who almost play the bla bla, shy, pure girl), It make like more and more Beren, because She is not scared to try new things even If it's scandalous.
I forget, I love You, god bless You, and In the note of the episode 13 can You explain me some things abous Islamic religion in Turkey, because I'm a christian there are things I don't understand.
I don't know how Fatmagul with forgive Kerim, but i hope she does. Conserning that game i find it horrible that people would create a game based on a rape. And again thankyou so much for your great effort.
Kerim was set up. He was innocent that night. He didn't rape her. The other three did. Those guys were rich so they turned him into the sacrificial lamb. Good thing she heard the truth herself about how Kerim feels for her.
actually thanks alot as the most part i like is the notes and i wish u always make notes as it is unique to ur blog i like kerim so much and he was so warm person as he knew he is innocent and he insist on making fatmagul believe him and other man after knowing he did nothing can go away without sympathy but kerim isnt like anyman the letter was superb and full of emotions and i felt as if fatmagul has tiny tear while reading it?? i think she didnt love him yet but there is a feeling i cant describ what is that??y she always look at him from bhind window especially while travelling?what do u think her feeling when she know he is back as i felt for a second she is angry the most thing i like in this episode is kerim reaction when he heard her for the first time pronounce his name KERIM while speaking to asu
Yes, Kerim was innocent to a degree. He might as well have raped her because he was there when it took place and he didn't do anything to stop it. At the end of the day, Kerim is one of them....catch my drift ? Hope so.
As usually....thank you so much, words cannot express our gratitude.
OK.....episode 13 was splendidly done with brilliant acting.
I know this is a book turned into a TV series, and I hope to God it leaves a perspective of realism at the end in regards to Fatmagul, Mustafa, Kerim.....etcetera, etcetera...in order for it to be epic.
I will rather Fatmagul fall in love with a totally stranger like I said before than Kerim.....it will be an injustice for her to settle in her current situation.
I know some people might say, NOOOOO...Kerim is innocent and Fatmagul should fall truly, madly and deeply in love with him.....................BINGO...that's not reality..(I know, I know...this is just a TV drama, but a realistic characteristics will suffice).
At the end of the day, although three men actually did the raping, but four men participated in the act of raping Fatmagul of her innocence.
I am sure she will forgive Kerim as time progresses but to fall in love in him.....NO..NO..NO....I will hate to see another stockholm syndrome unfolding itself. I do believe that Kerim regretted him involvement....Oh well, let me stop babbling.
That's exactly what I like about Beren. Being a good actress is not playing always the "barby" girl , shy, polite, innocent etc... that's so boring.
Beren has played characters that are extremely complex, and I don't think that average or "normal" actresses could have done them properly. That's why I put her among the excellent performers.
I hope Fatmagul character will evolve in a direction that allows her to show the size of her talent, like she did with Bihter's character in ask-i memnu. She was amazing because she was able to combine the lover, the traitor, the evil, the angel, the strong and the very weak and broken woman at once.
In real life, a victim of rape would not want anything to do with a person who took part in their ordeal. By taking part i mean ... Kerim pointed out to her first at that night, then he grabbed her. It could be said he led her to the other guys. They would want to move on and not be reminded of it, that is why she wants him to go away. But Fatmagul is lonely, has no support and if Kerim could prove himself to her and gain her trust, then falling for him is not stickholm syndrome.
Well, when her life was ruined, everone who she had ever known till that day, the town folks, her neighbours, her Yenge... everybody in her world turned their backs on her. Noone tried to help, noone showed mercy, noone tried to understand. Except for her half-witted brother.
She was forced to leave her hometown in which she spend her whole life.
Ebe Nine and Kerim were the only ones that cared for Fatmagül and eventually loved her for who she was. While everybody ran away from her, these two people came even closer to Fatmagül.
Now Fatmagül trusts and loves Ebe Nine, and Kerim is the boy raised by her. She has good reasons to hate Kerim. But we'll see if those will be surpassed by the reasons to love Kerim.
Mustafa seems to be a big obstacle in front of this love, though. Fatmagül wants to make herself believe that she still loves Mustafa. For her, this feeling... or rather faith.... is what remains of her past, pure life that was full of hopes and bright dreams.
But when/if Fatmagül eventually stops loving Mustafa... This time we might see a new problem arise, as then, she won't have any reason to not go and speak to the police and tell them the true story: She was actually raped by 3(+1) men that day. That would change everything.
(You'll understand why Fatmagül remained silent about the incident and never told the true story to the police or gendarmerie, when you watch Episode 3.)
Thanks ans thanks and thanks to infinity and beyond loooooool. Can't really tell you how much I admire your translation and generosity a zillion thumbs up. Now as to the ordeal of Fatmagul and Kerim I, too, can't see a way for forgiveness let alone love. Don't get me wrong I am in love with Kerim... I love his gentility, his truthful remorse, and his sympathies, BUT what he did is unforgivable... They not only raped her body.. they violated her humanity and consumed her ability to positive feelings!!!!!!! She is a bit insensitive towards the pain of Ebe Nine... I don't say this because I blame her noooooo I feel for her and excuse her all the way, but the rape thing destroyed her beyond repair as far as now. I think that after hearing his confession she'll act with more hostility or extra coldness and pretend that she neither read the letter nor heard him confess, but deep inside she'll be more scared and disdainful of him than ever. How dare he loves her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's for the disdain part, and is he thinking of a physical intimacy???? That's for the scared thing. P.S, I can't recall how many times I repeated the last scene... Acting is superb, the scenario is fantastic, and what can I say am developing a Ftamagul'un Sucu Ne? syndrome.
Thanks again guys for an excellent job. Im from Dubai and i must say i wait anxiously every saturday and sunday for ur releases. Teshekkur ederim.
One quick question though, does Mustafa know that Fatmagul was raped or not? i must have missed that scene. From what i can gather, he thinks she betrayed him. is that true?
Yes, indeed everyone took part in her abandonment, but it started with the rape which was the main catalysis of a domino effect that arise many issues within the numerous characters.
I love the fact that Ebe Nine is there for her, but then again, she is the few that simply have her best interest at heart.
In regards to Mustafa, as much as I was disappointed by some of his actions, I feel like he needs to get closure in order to move on with his life. He is carrying some major repressed anger with him.
From my understanding and from what I was told by one of my Turkish friend...(maybe I am wrong) it was a novel first before it was made into a movie years ago, and now a TV series.
Most likely there will be a season 2. Fatmagul was not hiding her identity, but i think people would be familiar with the province Izmir instead of the town.
Mustafa thinks Fatmagul and Kerim were having an affair behind him. Munir convinced him of this lie. He is an idiot, how could he think she was cheating on him when she loved him so much.
There's a saying in English - Every cloud has a silver lining. Although the rape was brutal and has destroyed her other life, Fatmagul would have been like a prisoner with Mustafa and now she can be free, whether or not she stays with Kerim. A phoenix rising from the ashes.
i think it is hard for her to love him but time can do it and i think she will love him because first he didnt do anything and he was drunken so if he wasnt he would defend her and i know it isnt excuse but u know y she will lov him?? because the man who she loved since childhood didnt believe her and accuse her and he cant use his brain and ask himself did he trust his beloved or a girl in hospital with wonds and bruises for sure didnt do that by her own will so nobody care about her except that kerim and he will care more so look to all around her she didnt find care or sympsthy except from kerim as if he is that mean he wouldnt care and leave her or humilate her specially he know he didnt rape her but look to the reaction of kerim and mustafa both know her rape but more over kerim saw it and inspite mustafa cant suppot but kerim loved her and will support so thats y she will love him because she miss every good thing and kerim will reward her back
Well, it's easier to believe because exterior wise, Fatmagul ended up marrying Kerim which will make people think they were having an affair. I think it's pretty much self-explanatory. So I wouldn't call Mustafa an idiot because in all retrospective, he was manipulated to believe the obvious lies and it doesn't look favourable of Fatmagul's side. She is married to Kerim hence which confirmed the obvious lies to be truth.....
There is so many misunderstanding and lies within the stories and I cannot wait for Mustafa to find out the truth about what really happened. Also, it will be nice to see the actually rapists pay for there deeds instead of Kerim alone....I am not saying he is 100 % innocent but the blame should be shifted a bit.
To guest.....i agree in all respect Mustafa isnt really to blame even though i hate him for not talking or trying to understand Fatmagul but believed the lie quiet easily although he was deceived wisely!...i cant wait fro the punishments and things to change for Fatmagul but i think thats the whole point of this series/storyline it will be a bumpy road i am guessing but one that we will enjoy for sure!
Mustafa is not the bad guy here......yes, his mistake was not standing by Fatmagul in her time of need which was disturbing considering their history.
Marrying Kerim doesn't help Fatmagul's case too much because at the end, it led people to believe that they were having an affair. That same seed was planted into Mustafa's head by Munir. You can't blame the guy for being angry...it's warranted.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Kerim's character. He looks scrumptious. ^^
The question is will you love someone who stood by while his three friends take turns raping you over and over again and didn't do anything to stop them ?
Hi, I don't want to make excuses for Kerim but take note the condition he and the gang were in when all this happens they had too much 2 drink and they where high on drugs this played a big part in the rape they committed they had no excuse but when you put this into perspective they were not in their right state of mind! and Kerim doesn't rape her although he watches and doesn't stop them which makes him probably worse but i think their state was not one in which you are able to know or control the rightness and wrongness of your actions, in which case why Drugs+Alcohol is probably forbidden in many religions/cultures due to the consequences that it creates. But i respect your opinion just wanted to put mine forward and ask if anyone else has a different perspective on this storyline?
Is there a book? I can't find anything about a book and would love to... I do know that there is a book about Aşk-ı Memnu by Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil, and Beren Saat played Bihter wonderfully...
Of course Mustafa is an idiot, how could he believe she had an affair when she looked like she was RAPED, but his stupid pride and stuborness stood in the way, he was so cold towards her. I don't like Mustafa, I am glad he's not with Fatmagul he was like a bodyguard and a solider with her, she needs someone gentle like Kerim. Yes I know he allowed his friends to rape her but look what he's done, stood by her married her protected her, I don't know maybe Iam wrong. Kerim actually really loved her from the first time he saw her in the river herding the sheeps. I want to see this love story bloom.
The same person may be surprised with bad things which could be committed. Life is full of surprises. You can not judge what to do or what you can not do unless you are placed in the same test so there is a variety of sanctions for the same crime I have great admiration for the director took out the best of all characters of the series creator of all great music, as well as the analysis of characters and great writing.
thank you erkan and melek this blog is a greet idea whicth answer for many asking in our head
I'm wondering why Asu hid the information about the pay phone location from Mustafa. She doesn't know Mustafa's motive so why does she do this ? Also, i see from you tube comments that many people despise Asu's "job" but i suspect she's being forced into doing this for some important reason. These characters are so wonderfully complex.
Well, I saw the movie. Fatmagül will not really get raped again. But something happens... I won't explain unless you want it because I don't want to give any "spoilers" in case they try to stay true to the book/movie as much as possible (they obviously can't do it completely because many things changed in Turkey since the book was written - see ep 2 when Erdoğan talks about the victim marrying the rapist)...
Hi, I understand your point and I know that they had an unstable state of mind, Erdogan though seemed the most sober and he made an eye contact with her, he knew exactly what he was doing and that's why I hate him the most. But being drunk and high on drugs cannot be a pretext, not an excuse, to ruin someone's life. We need to remember that Fatmagul is the victim here, and it is from her perspective that we should view things. Did you notice how Kerim was embarrassed the last episode when Emre poured him Arak? Fatmagul also had that meditative looked and seemed to remember that horrific night. It is the fact that Kerim did not stop them and was actually giggling like an idiot when they were raping her that makes me say that to forgive him seems science fiction up to this point. He needs to gain her trust, and prove to her that this night was not a life style, getting drunk and having pills... he needs to make her realize that it was a demonic misfortune for both of them because believe me she still thinks that he is a dissipated rake like Vural and the Yasarn sons. With all that I LOVE Kerim and sincerely wish she would forgive him one day.
I agree with you in some points , but I believe that love is much better than hate.Regard to Fatmagul charactor she needs this love so much ,so she can re-build her self confidence and for her wounds to be heeled quickly. I always feel that Fatmagul is one who needs a strong man to protect her after Mustafa has disappointed her and turned his back for her. although Kerim is a guilty one but I think he also great one that he could forgot what has happened in front of his eyes.
I think she is already in love with him ,dear guys love usually begin with hate; After all it is difficult to distinguish between the two feelings.WE love you Erkan and Melek .You do a big fever for us,thanks a lot.
Well said! I can not forsee forgiveness any time soon either. Kerim needs to work harder to gain her trust. Although not keeping his promise about traveling is yet another wrong move in fatmagul's perspective, i think staying near by is better for her state at the time being till she sorts out her life and decides about her next move.
Seemi, I was able to find dutch copy of book. Just searched at amazon for english translation, no result.. Maybe you can ask at your local library if there is english translation? You do know that book was written in 1900?
actually i think she didnt love him yet but this is transition stage with feelings cant be named as what she passed by isnt that easy as phyisical abuse is so hurting so she wont feel the love except she passed by the step of trust and forgiving as she did with ebe nine she trust her first then loved her as fatmagul has a problem with comunication with the surrounding after her accident and i see that kerim can gain her trust as i predict he will defend her against mukkades so she will feel safer and will help her in studying hard parts and she would feel the support so thats what she needs
first of all i said kerim has no excuse for what i will say but the guy isnt aware he was drunken and on drug as if he is aware he wont let them do so as he himself didnt remember what he did but this isnt excuse and for that he is paying living his life married to his victim all the time feeling pain while looking to her and if u ask me if i had a family support and love from the surroundings and the people can understand my problem for sure i cant marry him or love him but in case of fatmagul she has no other choice she left everygood thing in her life as she didnt complete education and her mukkades treat her badly and her country wont understand her and mustaa suspect her so what is her life for and she didnt love kerim yet but seeing that this person was regretting and trying hard to be next to me to be something inspite of all i do with him and he isnt obliged to do so so this will be my only door of love so compare her condition with or without kerim u will know with kerim better
But at the new trail 0.25 I can figure out the love in her eyes as she was looking at Kerim. normally she will keep treating him in cold reaction as a kind of refusing his love ,but at sudden moment she will discover that she is deep in love with him.
Absolutely, love is better than hate, but here forgiveness is the best and most healing, but is it easy?? noooo. I think that it is gratifying enough for Fatmagul now that Kerim is in love with her... there is a sort of sweet revenge. She knows he loves, and suffering for her, and she does not even care to think about his feelings!!!!!! That's a first step for confidence. As for Mustafa, I don't like him at all as he ditched her right away even before the betrayal story. I don't understand how her catastrophe turns into a pride issue for him, and when he burnt the house, he sort of gave her that blaming look, AHHHHHHHHH stupid, chauvinistic, block-head Mustafa. Someone as selfish and domineering as Mustafa would not have made her happy. She would have escaped Mukkades' abusive, but she would have got herself into another stfling environment.
And she is already giving him a hard time for coming back, but he needs to look after her closely; he needs to stick around for a while even if she is to turn his life a misery. I can't wait to see what that hope of Kerim's they mentioned in the summary of the episode is all about.
Hi, Erkan thank You so much for Your answer, what I wanted to know about religion in Turkey, it's that Your country look really open, not like all the "islamic religion"... My family and I, we will want to go in Turkey this summer because Your country seems so open minded and beautiful!! P.S: Erkan, today, I begin my first turkish lesson and I'm so happy, but seriously I think that It will take a long time before I managed to understand everything and talk currently!!!
I haven't been in anywhere other than Turkey. So I can't compare our (religious) open-ness with other muslim or non-muslim countries. But I can say that, Republic of Turkey is a secular country in which people of every belief and non-belief are to live together in peace.
Sadly in some regions we too, have some bad apples that aren't very tolerant to non-muslim people. But thankfully their numbers are small, especially too small in touristic places. So it's nothing you should worry about if you're planning to visit Turkey this summer to enjoy our beautiful beaches and perhaps some other historically worth-seeing places :)
It's nice to hear you're learning Turkish! I'm sure watching Turkish TV series will help you a lot, too.
hi, I just wanna know wats up with this video and all the previous old ones too! None of them are working and I desperately wanna watch it :(! plz do something I really cant wait to see the all the old ones from 1 to 13! and where are the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th and 8th episodes? Am a huge fan of this show and I soooooooo very much wanna watch them all with translations :) It would be awesome, thanks :)! And Keriem or Engin is such a sweetheart, I luv him :3!
Have you read this link? There is an alternative method to watch those episodes in English: http://www.whatisfatmagulsfault.com/2011/01/dont-panic.html
Thanks a million guys. This is an AWWWWWEESSOME effort. This series is airing on our TVs in Arabia nowadays but I prefer your translated version than our Arabic dubbed one. I like to listen to Turkish language and I learn alot about the expressions and customs from your fair and sincere explanation of every word. e.g. this part of episode 13 had several instances proving that you are truely an inspiration in translation ^_^ explaining about Turkish idioms and all.
Again... thank you all, and may Allah bless your hearts.

Tuba Büyüküstün is a famous actress, yes. But I'm afraid, I didn't watch her long enough to make a comparison with Beren Saat.
About "Islamic religion in Turkey", if you could make your question a little more specific, we would gladly try and explain it for you.
Religion is a big part of daily life and culture in most of the countries in the world. And there are a lot of things one can talk/explain about it :)
That's exactly what I like about Beren.
Being a good actress is not playing always the "barby" girl , shy, polite, innocent etc... that's so boring.

Well, he also might have raped her if she didn't pass away just when his turn arrived
We can say he was kind of lucky.
I've read somewhere in the comments that Fatmagul gets raped another time in the previous series. I hope not !!!!!!!!!! that would be so AWFUL !!!!
In real life, a victim of rape would not want anything to do with a person who took part in their ordeal. By taking part i mean ... Kerim pointed out to her first at that night, then he grabbed her.
Acting is superb, the scenario is fantastic, and what can I say am developing a Ftamagul'un Sucu Ne? syndrome.
YES YES I AGREE WITH YOU SHE IS UNIQUE
Thanks again guys for an excellent job. Im from Dubai and i must say i wait anxiously every saturday and sunday for ur releases. Teshekkur ederim.
One quick question though, does Mustafa know that Fatmagul was raped or not? i must have missed that scene. From what i can gather, he thinks she betrayed him. is that true?
Thanks again for an award wining site
thank you so much for translate this show!!!!!!!!! is it possible to translate episode 3 till 8 as well??????
Yes, indeed everyone took part in her abandonment, but it started with the rape which was the main catalysis of a domino effect that arise many issues within the numerous characters.
I love the fact that Ebe Nine is there for her, but then again, she is the few that simply have her best interest at heart.
In regards to Mustafa, as much as I was disappointed by some of his actions, I feel like he needs to get closure in order to move on with his life. He is carrying some major repressed anger with him.
Very well said.
From my understanding and from what I was told by one of my Turkish friend...(maybe I am wrong) it was a novel first before it was made into a movie years ago, and now a TV series.
True that @ lebanon.
I heard the same thing too, I hope that's not the case. It will be rather disturbing.
A phoenix rising from the ashes.
i think it is hard for her to love him but time can do it and i think she will love him because first he didnt do anything and he was drunken so if he wasnt he would defend her and i know it isnt excuse but u know y she will lov him?? because the man who she loved since childhood didnt believe her and accuse her and he cant use his brain and ask himself did he trust his beloved or a girl in hospital with wonds and bruises for sure didnt do that by her own will
so nobody care about her except that kerim and he will care more so look to all around her she didnt find care or sympsthy except from kerim as if he is that mean he wouldnt care and leave her or humilate her specially he know he didnt rape her but look to the reaction of kerim and mustafa both know her rape but more over kerim saw it and inspite mustafa cant suppot but kerim loved her and will support so thats y she will love him because she miss every good thing and kerim will reward her back
Well, it's easier to believe because exterior wise, Fatmagul ended up marrying Kerim which will make people think they were having an affair.
LOL am glad You find me funny but honestly that was my reaction in the end :D loveeee this sereis x
Good point! Hi5* if your from the UK =]
You can not judge what to do or what you can not do unless you are placed in the same test so there is a variety of sanctions for the same crime
I have great admiration for the director took out the best of all characters of the series creator of all great music, as well as the analysis of characters and great writing.
thank you erkan and melek this blog is a greet idea whicth answer for many asking in our head
Do you know if the book Ask-i-memnu is translated in English. Would love to read it. The story was amazin and intense.
Fatmagul will always fight against any postive feeling towards Kerim, and that's where kerim's will be challanged all the time!
thannnnnnnnnnnnnks a million from dubai ,can't wait for thursday :)
can someone tell me where can we write to engin akyurek(l mean a web page fans or even his email) and he can answers to his fans questions?
NOW I AGREE WITH YOU DEAR CHRISTINA I REALY LIKE YOUR COMENTS
Seemi,
I was able to find dutch copy of book.
You are right i think we are on the same boat ;) x
I can't wait to see what that hope of Kerim's they mentioned in the summary of the episode is all about.
yes as she is in struggle of refusing him because he destroy her life and between th fact that he is the one trying to rebuilt her life again
Thanks for your efforts, the show is worthy watching.
hi, I just wanna know wats up with this video and all the previous old ones too! None of them are working and I desperately wanna watch it :(! plz do something I really cant wait to see the all the old ones from 1 to 13! and where are the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th and 8th episodes? Have you read this link? There is an alternative method to watch those episodes in English: http://www.whatisfatmagulsfault.com/2011/01/dont-panic.html
can anyone please tell me where to find fatmaguls episodes translated in english?
Does anyone what episode it is that fatmagulun knows kerim didn't rape her? Please reply!!!
Ok
Thanks a million guys. This is an AWWWWWEESSOME effort. This series is airing on our TVs in Arabia nowadays but I prefer your translated version than our Arabic dubbed one. I like to listen to Turkish language and I learn alot about the expressions and customs from your fair and sincere explanation of every word. e.g. this part of episode 13 had several instances proving that you are truely an inspiration in translation ^_^ explaining about Turkish idioms and all.
Again... thank you all, and may Allah bless your hearts.
Cheers and salam.
